The Garden Route is famed for its natural beauty and makes for a stunning backdrop when travelling to its unofficial capital, Knysna. Approximately 500km (6hours) from Cape Town and 250km (3hours) from Port Elizabeth on the N2, it is an easy drive from wherever you are, against the backdrop of breath-taking scenery. Alternatively, you can fly into George Airport, which is only an hour’s drive away – or land on our helipad in your own helicopter!

From Plettenberg Bay (east):

Travel through Knysna CBD towards Cape Town on the N2 (Knysna’s Main Street). Travel through the traffic lights at the junction with Waterfront Drive. Turn right into Old Cape Road at the next set of traffic lights. You’ll find our arched entrance on your left after approximately 4,8km, before the tar road gives way to gravel.

From Cape Town (west):

Travel on the N2 towards Knysna along the estuary. Once you have rounded the estuary, turn left at the second set of traffic lights, into Old Cape Road. You’ll find our arched entrance on your left after approximately 4,8km, before the tar road gives way to gravel.
