Our newly built and installed Padel Courts on Simola Estate, officially open for bookings on December 16th, 2023.
The Padel Courts are conveniently situated between the entrance of the Simola Hotel entrance gate and the Hotel parking bays.
Surrounded by forest and lush greenery, this fun and interactive game can be played on one of our two Padel Courts.
The first game time is at 6am, and the last game can be played at 9pm (Sundays and Public Holidays at 7pm).
Our flood Lights allow for a Padel game after-dark, and we have a generator in place should there be load shedding during your match.
Join us in the Simola Padel Club House for delicious pizza’s, salads, specialized coffee’s & refreshments,
or pop into the Padel Pro-Shop to purchase Padel equipment.
What is Padel?
This fast-paced and exciting game is a racquet-based ball sport that could be described as a mixture of squash and tennis.
Like tennis, the players must pass a ball over the net into an opponent’s side by hitting the ball with their racquet.
The Padel ball is slightly smaller, the racket has a solid compact frame, and the walls of the enclosed court are firmly part of the sport’s gameplay.
Padel is mostly played by four people in a game of doubles.
Padel rackets are available for hire at the Simola Padel Courts.
